Scroll Anchor for Gravity Forms

Leírás

Scroll Anchor for Gravity Forms gives you control over the gform_confirmation_anchor filter without touching a single line of code.

By default, Gravity Forms scrolls the page back to the top of the form after a submission. This plugin lets you turn that anchor behavior on in one of two ways:

  • Sitewide, so every form on the site uses the anchor.
  • Per form, so only the forms you choose use the anchor while every other form keeps default behavior.

A simple settings screen under Settings > GF Confirmation Anchor lists every Gravity Forms form on your site with a checkbox next to it, along with a single toggle to enable the anchor everywhere at once.

This plugin is not affiliated with or endorsed by Gravity Forms.

Features

  • Lightweight, single purpose settings page.
  • Sitewide toggle for enabling the anchor on all forms.
  • Per form checkboxes for granular control.
  • Settings are sanitized and stored using the WordPress Settings API.
  • No database tables, no external requests, no bloat.

Telepítés

  1. Upload the scroll-anchor-for-gravity-forms folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or upload the zip file directly through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
  3. Go to Settings > GF Confirmation Anchor.
  4. Check „Enable confirmation anchor on ALL forms” to apply it sitewide, or leave it unchecked and select individual forms from the list below.
  5. Click Save Changes.

GYIK

Does this plugin work without Gravity Forms installed?

No. The settings page will still load, but it will display a notice that Gravity Forms does not appear to be active, and the anchor filter has no effect without it.

What happens if I check the sitewide option and also select individual forms?

The sitewide setting takes priority. Once it is enabled, the per form list is ignored (and visually disabled) until sitewide is turned off again.

Does this plugin change how the anchor looks or behaves, just whether it fires?

Just whether it fires. This plugin only controls the boolean value passed to the gform_confirmation_anchor filter; it does not alter Gravity Forms’ own anchor markup or scroll behavior.
