Title: Post Format Block Author: Aaron Jorbin Published: 2021.11.03. Last modified: 2021.11.03. If you want to display a post format in a block based theme, you need a plugin and this one does that and only that. ## Blokkok This plugin provides 1 block. * Post Format Display a post's format ## Telepítés 1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/post-format-block` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress ## GYIK ### Can this display a post’s tags? No, it can only display a post’s format. ### What if the format is „Standard”? According to the WordPress Database, it thus doesn’t have a format. ## Vélemények ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/c946ead5be748a2361948be569877a172434feb05b1c035dbe36213b46e8278e? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Does what it says on the box!](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/does-what-it-says-on-the-box-92/)󠁿 [philhoyt](https://profiles.wordpress.org/philhoyt/) 2023.01.10. Appreciate this plugin!I almost wish it had the option to enable post formats. A check box to turn them on for Posts and/or Pages would be nice. A lot of themes don't come with Formats and even for my own theme I threw together a quick one file plugin to enable them. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/6aac91050857f4da5fe8b15741283f0205b74c4977d7d9d54e52f88435875f04? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Simple and just works](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/simple-and-just-works-26/)󠁿 [Michael Donohoe](https://profiles.wordpress.org/donohoe/) 2021.12.03. Often you need a plugin that just does what it says it does – and doesn't have the extra features that are just too much (looking at you Yoast and 301 Redirects). This is a quality plugin and does exactly what it says. Awesome. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/323cf209e19dd825678e9ccc51bc3f745f96571f1c68af26ae7955c1fa9ad1f2? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[It’s Great](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/its-great-309/)󠁿 [Aaron Jorbin](https://profiles.wordpress.org/jorbin/) 2021.11.03.
